On 27/05/2020, a written complaint was received regarding the molestation of a minor girl aged seven years by the accused. Over this written complaint, Kalimpong Women PS Case No. 06/2020 dt 27/05 /2020 u/s 8 of Pocso act was started and endorsed to LSI Sabita Lama for investigation. After the conclusion of the trial, the Ld Court has convicted the accused and awarded him rigorous imprisonment for a period of 03 years and a fine of ₹ 5000.Kalimpong District Police congratulates LSI Sabita Lama for her efficient investigation resulting in conviction.
